Scarlett Johansson Won't Be Touring

Scarlett Johansson won't be playing live in support of her first album Anywhere I Lay My Head, the actress turned singer has revealed.

Fans had hoped the Hollywood star would tour the record, which was released last week and is a collection on Tom Waits covers.

Johansson has admitted to suffering from stagefright and a spokesman for her recod label Warner Music has denied rumours she would be playing a festival this Summer, or indeed playing her own headline shows.

"It's purely a hobby for her." Says the spokesman. "Now that she's engaged as well (to actor Ryan Reynolds) the opportunities seem to have become even more limited."
