Led Zeppelin could finally reform properly for a full reunion tour, as it has now been claimed singer Robert Plant has agreed to join the band.
The remaining three members (Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and stand-in drummer Jason Bonham) have already been rehearsing without the singer which fuelled rumours they were planning a tour.
However, Plant recently claimed it was the large amounts of paperwork involved in staging live shows that has put him off committing to a full scale tour.
A source now tells The Sun that the frontman has changed his mind, saying: "The rest of the band had all but given up on Robert joining them, but they were determined to go ahead so had started to seriously explore other avenues."
"When Robert realised the band were serious about doing it without him, it made him think long and hard."
"He realised he couldn't face the thought of not being involved. The band were over the moon when he told them the news. They are now forging ahead with the tour plans and they can't wait to get on the road."
