Rihanna Wanted To Go 'Heavy Metal'

Rihanna wanted to go heavy metal on her new 'Rated R' album - before her label put a stop to it.
Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt (who performed live with Ri on Monday night during her live webcast concert in London) revealed her original plans.
"I think the label had a seizure so they went down another route." He told the Daily Star. "When I spoke to Rihanna she was totally into transforming herself into a heavy rock chick."
"She was listening to Led Zeppelin and new acts like Paramore and said that was the direction she wanted to go, so I said yes."
Rihanna releases 'Rated R' next week. The LP includes the songs 'Russian Roulette' and 'Wait Your Turn'.
