Rihanna 'Denies She Provoked Brown Attack'

Rihanna has hit out at critics who suggest she provoked Chris Brown into beating her.
Speaking on U.S. show 20/20, the Barbadian has been speaking about her break-up with Brown this week.
Addressing comments made that hint Ri drove Chris to assault her back in February, she said: "It's ignorance, I can say that, because even if I hit him first, that makes it OK for him to do that to me? They kind of give an excuse for what he did."
"No, I did not hit him, it was a verbal argument. We weren't even drunk." Rihanna added.
When asked if Chris had ever acted that way before and physically harmed Ri, she confirmed: "No. He shoved me into a wall. When I said it didn't happen, I mean, I've never bled, been swollen up, bruised - it was never a fight."
Chris Brown feels Rihanna shouldn't be discussing details of the assault in public.
