REM have mapped a European tour in support of 14th studio album Accelerate and they've also been booked to play a special UK date next month.

On March 24th - a week before Accelerate lands - the band will perform on stage at The Royal Albert Hall, as part of the 60th birthday celebrations for the Institute Of Contemporary Arts. Also playing that night are Robyn Hitchcock, Foals and The Duke Spirit - tickets will be on sale on Friday (Feb 15th), from 9am.

The European tour consists of twenty shows that will take place from the beginning of July right until a third into September. Their Summer schedule now looks like this:
