Radiohead have responded over negative feedback from fans, who feel the high price of tickets for 2008's outdoor UK Summer tour is just too expensive.
The tickets are priced at £42.50 plus a booking fee, which has meant the tour has still not sold out.
Speaking on behalf of the band, one of Radiohead's managers Bryce Edge told The Times: "We don't want to go on tour and lose money. It is expensive to put on the quality show people expect. It is a comparable price to artists of a similar stature."
Radiohead are to play the following shows:
June Dates:
6th - Dublin, Malahide Castle
7th - Dublin, Malahide Castle
24th - London, Victoria Park
25th - London, Victoria Park
27th - Glasgow, Green
29th - Manchester, LCCC
