Radiohead 'Recording New Album This Winter'

Radiohead have assured fans they will release a new album and it will be available as early as next year.

Speculation suggested the band were axing the album format in favour of releasing singles and EPs in the future, but guitarist Ed O'Brien has revealed a full LP is on the horizon.

"We will be making an album." He told NME. "We love the artwork; that's really important to us, the physicality. And we like vinyl. That's not going to go away."

O'Brien also joked that his group would be making moody music. "Typical Radiohead. We're going into the studio in winter." He revealed. It's always miserable!"

"When you're in a studio in the countryside the music you make is definitely affected by what season it is."

Radiohead's last album, 'In Rainbows', was released last year and the band famously allowed fans to pay what they wanted to download the record.
