Radiohead Managers Win Award For In Rainbows Release Method

The co-managers of Radiohead, AKA Bryce Edge and Chris Hufford, won "Innovators of the Year" at the first MediaGuardian Awards in London this week (March 6th), for their methods of releasing In Rainbows.

The pair were applauded for their "pay what you think the album is worth" method for the download release of the band's current long-player, which had a price range of free-£99.99

The Awards panel said that Edge and Hufford were the "clear winners" in the category and that they managed to "revolutionise the way music is sold and marketed almost overnight."

A physical version of In Rainbows has since been released.
