Q-Tip To Release Kamaal The Abstract

Q-Tip is finally due to release his heavily delayed 'Kamaal The Abstract' album on September 15.
The former A Tribe Called Quest rapper should have released the record way back in 2001, which was produced by Q-Tip himself (he also plays several instruments).
According to the press release, 'Kamaal The Abstract', is a varied mix of "soul, supa-cool jazz, head nodding hip-hop, and organic pop magic in the vein of Stevie Wonder or Prince."
Guest musicians on the LP include saxophonist Kenny Garrett and flute player Gary Thomas, who both used to perform with Miles Davis.
