Pete Doherty To Remain Drug Free In 2009

Pete Doherty has revealed he has kicked his drug habit and intends to remain drug-free for 2009.
Following a turbulent year, which has not only seen the Babyshambles frontman be a regular feature in the UK tabloids - but also saw him jailed in Wormwood Scrubs Prison in May - Doherty now has a positive outlook for the new year.
"I'm sick of going around in circles," Pete is quoted as saying. "I'm clean now and I'm going to stay that way this year - apart from the fags and the booze."
