Pete Doherty has avoided jail today (September 4th) as his sentence has been moved back to December.
The Babyshambles singer appeared at Thames Magistrates Court today having previously pleaded guilty to drug charges.
Judge Jane McIvor told the court that sentencing would now take place on December 4th so that they could monitor his ongoing battle with drug addiction.
Doherty must keep attending rehab in Southgate, North London as part of the conditions.
The former Libertines star told the court "I just want my life back" on hearing the Judge's decision.
