Pete Doherty has been released from police custoday today (April 21st), after his arrest yesterday (April 20th) for suspicion of possessing Class A drugs.
Doherty and a 21 year old male were arrested and held overnight, after police arrested them both just hours after a court hearing - over a previous drug related arrest for the Babyshambles frontman.
At the Thames Magistrates Court hearing, Doherty was sentenced for seven charges of possession.
The sentencing resulted in him being given a six month driving ban, a community order with two years supervision and an 18 month drug rehabilitation programme.
Today, Pete Doherty and the 21 year old man were both granted bail and set free from police custoday.
