Pete Doherty Denies Starting Italy Fight

Pete Doherty has denied recent allegations that he started a fight with a photographer after a show in Rome.

A newspaper had claimed the scuffle began outside the hotel Babyshambles were staying in, after they had played at the Piper Club earlier that evening.

Reports state that the Italian photographer went to hospital and and he was thinking of making a complaint about Doherty.

Speaking on behalf of Pete, a spokesman has claimed that the troubled star has witnesses who saw him being hit on the head with a camera. He added: "Reports that the photographer might make an official complaint will certainly interest Pete's lawyers".
