Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder Talk Brand New Album

Pearl Jam have nearly wrapped-up writing their next album, the veterans have revealed in a new interview.

Talking to Rolling Stone, frontman Eddie Vedder says of his group's upcoming ninth studio record: "The new record feels good so far - really strong and uptempo, stuff we can sink our teeth into."

The follow-up to 2006's self-titled 'Pearl Jam' will be produced by acclaimed studio wizard Brendan O'Brien. He last produced the band's 1998 long-player 'Yield'.

In other news, Pearl Jam are also to re-release a remastered edition of their 1991 album 'Ten', on March 23.
