Paul McCartney Is Not Retiring

Paul McCartney won't be hanging up his guitar and retiring next year.
The ex-Beatles songwriter has rubbished tabloid stories from last week, which said he would be heading out on his last ever tour in 2010, and would mark his final shows by performing at unique locations.
"All I can say is that I'm not retiring," McCartney tells the Boston Herald. "It's like 'Paul is dead' [a famous rumour which suggest he was actually dead]. 'No, I'm not,' is all I could say."
"I did talk about retirement in one sentence in one story and only to say 'No way, Jose.' But someone must have only read part of that one sentence."
McCartney then added that he could keep touring still for years to come. "As long as people want to come and hear me, I'll probably be doing this. It's just so easy to start rumours."
