Patrick Wolf "Almost Shot In The Face By Police"

Patrick Wolf was arrested at the beginning of the week and nearly "shot in the face".
The British artist was detained by cops following a performance in California on Monday night (June 8). Wolf had been playing a show at Slim's in San Francisco when an incident with a security guard resulted in Patrick spitting in his face.
The 'Vulture' star told followers of his Twitter account about the incident.
"[I] Was arrested by San Fran police for spitting in a bouncer's face in protection of myself. Was almost shot in the face by a policeman. WTF?"
"Was told by the policeman 'take your sh***y a** music out of this city and if you ever step off that tour bus you will be ***** ******** '"
"Feeling very Thelma and Louise right now... must sleep... not allowed off the bus or I will be shot by a policeman. This country is insane!!!"
"Btw. Apparently my spit DEFINITELY contains 'hiv, swine flu and hepatitis' that is why my spit is a deadly weapon according to police here!"
Wolf is currently in the US on tour supporting his new album 'Bachelor'.
