Oasis Won't Be Performing At Glastonbury 2009

Oasis won't be performing at Glastonbury in 2009, as guitarist Noel Gallagher says he wouldn't go back to the festival.
When asked if the band would be appearing at the yearly event, Gallagher said: "I wouldn't go back to Glastonbury. Why is R Kelly playing there or something?"
"No seriously, this [tour] is where it's going to be at next summer but we said the last time we did Glastonbury that we've never really pulled it off."
Speaking of the festival, Noel added: "Glastonbury is great to be at but it's not really good for people like me to play at because you don't go on until 11 at night and all the people you're with by that time are absolutely battered."
"By the time you get off you're just playing catch up all night and trying to make sense of what your girlfriend is saying."
Yesterday Oasis announced a full UK tour for Summer next year, where the band will be playing stadiums and outdoor venues.
