Oasis Won't Be "Doing A Radiohead" For Their Album Releases

Noel Gallagher - guitarist with Oasis - has said his band will never follow Radiohead's route of allowing fans to choose a price for their future albums.
"I didn't spend a year in the most expensive studio in England, with the most expensive producer in America, and the most expensive graphic designer in London to then give it away." says Gallagher to the BBC. "Fuck that."
"To be honest, to me it looked like marketing. Y'know? A great way of getting a load of marketing for free really, but good for them." Noel added. "That's what they do, they're rebels and outsiders."
Gallagher's marketing comments refer to the unique method Radiohead took to distributing the release of 'In Rainbows' - where they allowed fans to pay what they felt the album was worth. A physical release then followed shortly after.
Oasis themselves will soon be releasing their own new album 'Dig Out Your Soul', due in shops from October 6th - after the release of lead single 'The Shock Of Lightning' on September 28th.
