Oasis To Take Legal Action Against False Gig Claims

Oasis are in talks to take legal action against media outlets who incorrectly reported that Liam Gallagher stormed off stage during a concert earlier this week.
Websites claimed the frontman quit the show for 30 minutes as the band performed on Tuesday night (July 21st).
Now a statement on their website tells fans that "Oasis are taking legal advice from top city law firm Carter Ruck after a story appeared, falsely claiming that Liam Gallagher "stormed out of" an Oasis gig at the Roundhouse in London."
A spokesman speaking on behalf of the rockers denied Gallagher stormed off, adding: "The story that Liam left the gig is totally untrue. Liam left the stage only for a few minutes during songs sung by his brother Noel, as is always the case."
"The whole show was captured on film by ITV so fans will soon see the truth of this. "It is very difficult to understand why supposedly respectable publications would publish such malicious and damaging claims."
