Oasis Issue Statement About 'Split'

Oasis have issued a statement confirming they aren't splitting - amidst reports the group are going to call it a day.
The tabloids have been claiming the Gallagher camp are to quit, and even suggested inter-band feuding was the real reason Oasis cancelled their V Festival headline slot at the weekend.
"V Festival was always scheduled as the last UK gig for this 'Dig Out Your Soul' world tour," the statement reads. "Oasis will complete the rest of the world tour in Europe and then take some well-earned time off before they begin to think about the next album and tour."
Yesterday (August 24), Liam posted on Twitter that he was "sorry" for pulling out of the festival, and also denied his band were no longer together.
