Oasis Cancel V Festival Headline Slot

Oasis have pulled out of their V Festival headline slot tonight (August 23rd) in Chelmsford.
The band were going to be the closing act at the event, but Liam Gallagher has been diagnosed with viral laryngitis.
Sadly for the rockers, this was going to be their final UK performance on their world tour.
According to NME, a spokesperson says: "After a year of being on the road this is the first performance to be lost to a band member's illness, so naturally we are all completely gutted."
"Liam is resting up and should be fine to resume the tour next Friday (August 28) in Paris."
Snow Patrol will now stand in as a replacements.
