Oasis 'Booze Blamed For Band Split'

Liam Gallagher's drinking has been blamed for Oasis splitting, according to insiders.

Last week Noel Gallagher announced he had walked out of the band, describing his brother as impossible to work with.

A source now tells The Sun the singer's boozy antics are to blame: "Liam has been drinking heavily for the duration of the tour and regularly got very abusive and personal."

"He has taunted Noel's girlfriend Sara, other band members, and the crew. People have been frightened to go near him. He is one very angry man who needs to sort his issues out."

Other insiders claimed the split came after a heated argument between the pair, which resulted in Liam smashing Noel's guitar, shortly before they were due to headline a French music festival.

This week Noel also issued a full statement explaining he decision for quitting Oasis.
