Noel Gallagher Says He Took Drugs In The Queen's Toilet

Noel Gallagher says he once took drugs in the Queen's toilet, at Downing Street.

Talking to comedian Russell Brand on his Radio 2 show, the Oasis songwriter said he took cocaine in the toilet - that was reserved specifically for Her Highness - in 1997, during a Labour reception where he met Tony Blair.

"As I remember, it was quite nice," Gallagher says of the Queen's loo. "It had a velvet seat and everything. She's got her own toilet which no-one else is allowed in. These were the days of the revolution."

Yesterday it was announced that Oasis have been forced to cancel several European shows due to Noel's rib injuries, after he was attacked onstage at the start of September.

The band release their new album 'Dig Out Your Soul' on October 6th.
