Noel Gallagher has put on hold any plans to record a solo album - for now.
Although he hinted he was to release a record next year - his first material since leaving Oasis and his debut album without the band - Gallagher has now revealed he's in no rush to hit the studio.
"I'm not doing a solo album as I'm taking time off." Noel told the Daily Star. "I'm enjoying bumming around watching Coronation Street. I much prefer it to EastEnders. That show is too depressing for me."
Noel's brother Liam however, can't wait to get back to making music. He said last month he may start recording new songs as early as January next year.
