Noel Gallagher : Oasis And Blur Feud Was "Pathetic"

Noel Gallagher has mocked the chart battle between Oasis and Blur in the mid-90s, saying their feud at the time was pathetic.
In 1995, both bands fought for the number one single in the same week - with Blur's 'Country House' outselling his group's 'Roll With It'. Both acts also traded insults, with Noel even saying he hoped Damon Albarn and Alex James would "die of AIDS".
"Looking back now that fight's all so pathetic over two really quite s*** pop songs," Noel Gallagher told the Guardian in a new interview. And speaking of his feelings on Albarn now, he added: "He's a great artist. He's different from me. I'm not an artist - for me, it just comes out."
"He does Chinese operas and that kind of thing, he's got more strings to his bow than I'll ever have."
