Noel Gallagher has revealed that he nearly named the new Oasis album after a song by a former Spice Girl.
The songwriter told The Sun that the band's forthcoming 'Dig Out Your Soul' long-player was originally intended to be called 'Bag It Up', which also shares its title with a former Geri Halliwell single.
"The missus goes 'Bag It Up'? isn't that a song by Geri Halliwell. I was like: 'You've ruined my entire fucking year!'." Gallagher told the paper.
As we reported recently, the album 'Dig Out Your Soul' will be in shops from October 6th and preceded by lead single 'The Shock Of the Lightning' (available September 29th).
