The man who pushed Noel Gallagher off stage during an Oasis performance in Toronto last year, has had his charge upgraded.
47-year-old Daniel Sullivan assaulted the guitarist at the Virgin Music Festival in September 2008 (see a video of the attack here), which left Noel with rib injuries and a cancelled Oasis tour.
Sullivan's charges have now been raised from assault to aggravated assault, which carries a maximum sentence of 14 years in prison. Sullivan will attend court on March 6 for a pre-trial hearing.
