Nas And Kelis Are Divorcing

Nas and Kelis are filing for divorce, it has been confirmed.
The hip-hop couple are expecting their first child together, but the 'Milkshake' star has filed for divorce on Thursday, April 30. Kelis is claiming irreconcilable differences is to blame for their split.
A spokesperson for the singer has confirmed the news, telling Vibe.com of the separation: "I can confirm that she has filed for divorce. We request the media to respect her privacy during this very difficult time."
Nas married Kelis in 2003, they have been dating since 2002.
Back in February the rapper appeared happy, saying of his baby news: "Personally, life is good. I'm sure that y'all heard K [Kelis] is expecting. The internet seems to be more excited than I am. It's crazy!"
