Nadine Coyle Causes Bidding War With Solo Album

Nadine Coyle has caused a bidding war between record labels eager to sign her up as a solo act.

According to the Daily Star Sunday, three major labels are fighting to bag the Girls Aloud singer and release her debut solo album, and figures to sign the star are said to be high.

"The band recently declared there'd be three more Girls Aloud albums," a source told the newspaper. "For the next year they're doing their own thing but Nadine is the one creating the biggest buzz in the industry."

"It looks like Universal – a subdivision of the Girls Aloud label Fascination – will produce Nadine's solo shot. But whoever wins her will have to pay a lot because everyone's desperate to sign her."

"She will get an amazing deal as a result of shopping around."
