N-Dubz Star Reponds To La Roux's R&B Comments

N-Dubz star Dappy has hit back at La Roux singer Elly Jackson, after she slammed R&B music.

Last week saw Jackson describe the genre as "kind of empty, like hollow and not rooted in anything good or healthy".

She also said lyrics in R&B songs were "really, really bad", before suggesting girls only sell records because they are "basically naked" in their videos.

Dappy - who is no stranger to hits himself - says of the 'Bulletproof' singer: "I'm a fan of La Roux but she needs to expand her knowledge of music."

"There's a much wider range and variety than she knows about and she needs to listen to it." Dappy continued to the Daily Star.
