Muse Confirm Homecoming Gigs

Muse have confirmed rumours of a two homecoming gigs next month. The band are to take over Teignbridge Den on September 4 and 5, as fans had predicted earlier this month.
Muse had to be given the all-clear by Teignbridge Council, who gave them the thumbs up yesterday (August 17th).
According to the Herald Express, the gigs have strict rules in place - the volume of the music must not exceed 84.1 decibels at the nearest premises to the venue.
Muse bassist Chris Wolstenholme told the paper: "I am chuffed to bits the application has been granted. We were coming towards the end of making the album about four months ago and were talking about warm-up gigs."
"We thought that it would be great to do something on The Den, rather than the typical London gig or radio session. I think it will be a proud moment for us and it will show people what we have been doing for the last 12 years."
"It's not a money-making exercise. It's not a profit-making event and we will want to give something back to the community – maybe a youth organisation – but we have got to look at that in more detail."
Fans can get tickets from 9am on Saturday morning (August 21st).
