Mos Def To Release New Album On A T-Shirt

Mos Def has a unique way of releasing his new album - fans can buy 'The Ecstatic' as a t-shirt.
A limited edition version of the rapper's new LP will come in the form of a collectible clothing item that aims to "literally wed music and fashion".
The shirt can't be played (for obvious reasons!), but the garment - which is billed as The Original Music Tee' - will feature the album artwork on the front, with the tracklisting feature on the reverse.
Now here is where the music comes in - the tag on the t-shirt includes a special code that allows the buyer to download 'The Ecstatic' online.
According to the Guardian, the clothing piece will retail at $39 (about £24).
For Mos Def fans who want a cheaper, less fashionable method of playing 'The Ecstatic', they can purchase a standard CD, vinyl or digital download.
For his fourth solo record, the actor worked with producers Oh No, Madlib, Chad Hugo and J Dilla.
