Miley Cyrus claims she doesn't want to be seen as an idol - as she doesn't feel people should try and "replicate" her.
The Hannah Montana star feels it is more important for people to look up to her, than it is for them to try and be like her.
And despite her controversial past of semi-nude photos, and dancing around a stripper pole, Miley says she agrees that young girls look to her as a role model.
"If you look at me as a role model I agree with it. If you look at me as an idol, I don't agree," she told the Daily Record. "An idol for me is someone that you want to replicate. You want to be them."
"I don't wish that on anyone, to lose what they have personally, because that's when your spark goes." Said Cyrus.
And one thing Miley is looking forward to doing as a "role model" is fulfilling her life-long dream of going to Indonesia to do charity work.
"I've been planning going to Indonesia since I was eight," she revealed. "It's something I've always wanted to do, and I was never old enough to go with my church when they all headed out there."
