Michael Jackson will be laid to rest in a $25,000 gold-plated, solid bronze casket, when he is buried next week.
The coffin, which is named Promethean, is very similar to the same casket soul legend James Brown was buried in.
Besides the 14 gold-plating and solid bronze exterior, the coffin is lined with blue velvet and has a hand-polished mirror finish.
As reported this week, Michael's public memorial will be staged at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday (July 7).
The venue is the same location Jackson performed his final tour rehearsal, just two days before his death on June 25. Around 20,000 fans are expected to attend.
A video of those rehearsals has been released by concert promoters AEG - watch it here.
