Method Man 'Owes His Life To RZA'

Method Man regularly tells RZA that he owes his life to him.
The Wu-Tang rappers were involved in a drive-by shooting during their younger years, and Method insists RZA stopped him from being killed.
During the early 90s, Method crossed over the road to speak to his buddy and narrowly missed being shot in the incident.
"[I called], 'Come over here, yo!'" RZA told CNN when recalling the event. "[Method Man] stopped and came running over. A few seconds later - pow-pow-pow-pow-pow! A guy started shooting up the front of [a house]."
"A buddy of ours, Poppy, an innocent, school-going, nice guy - he was shot and killed right there."
"Meth always brings it up... that that day saved his life. He actually said, if it was anybody else calling him, he wouldn't have came."
