Melanie B Eyes Role As X Factor Judge

Ex-Spice Girl Mel B wants to become a judge on the next series of X Factor.
After hearing that Dannii Minogue might be losing her place on the judging panel, Mel revealed that she will have a chat with Simon Cowell about being a possible replacement.
"Yes, I'd do Dannii's job," she told The Mirror. "Me and Simon see each other in Los Angeles quite a lot. He's nice - funny, jokey and chatty. I really need to talk to him about it."
"I've been a presenter on Dancing With The Stars in the US and I loved it. So I'm sure I'd be good on the X Factor."
"My whole family are now settled in LA, but I would go back for X Factor. I'd only go back to England for something good. And I love X Factor. It's such a great show. I watch it whenever I'm back in the UK."
She went on to add that she wouldn't feel threatened by fellow judges Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh. "I'm not scared of the other judges. I think I'd hold my own."
