Maximo Park are to headline a special charity gig in London next month, in aid of The Royal Marsden Hospital and the No Surrender Charitable Trust.
Staged at the Forum in London on May 28th, other names include Blood Red Shoes, Mystery Jets and Pete And The Pirates. Tickets go on sale on April 9th at 9am, priced at £20.
The event is being organised by Maximo Park after their close friend, Jason Boas, was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer and given just 6-12 months to live by doctors.
Speaking of the event, frontman Paul Smith says: "When someone you know is up against cancer it makes sense to give them your full support."
"We've never been a preachy band or asked people to shell out daft amounts for tickets, but this show will be well worth the entry fee for a number of reasons."
