Maximo Park Cancel North American Tour

Maximo Park have pulled all of the dates on their North American tour next month, blaming illness on the decision.
A statement from the band explains the reason for the axed concerts: "We regret to inform you that, for personal reasons, we've had to cancel our tour of the USA and Canada, which was planned for September."
"We wholeheartedly apologize to everyone who was looking forward to seeing us perform and we will do everything we can to reschedule the shows."
"We've always enjoyed visiting North America in the past and are bitterly disappointed to be missing out this time. When we return, it'll be with as much energy and passion as ever."
Maximo Park were due to start the tour on September 6.
