Mark Ronson may be drafted in to produce Elton John's next album, say fresh reports.
The hitmaker will appearently work on the record, which is expected to be released in 2009 by the Universal/Republic label - which is run by Universal Music's Monte Lippman.
As we reported last month, Ronson's next project will be collaborating with former colleague Amy Winehouse, on a cover of Lesley Gore's 'You Don't Own Me' for a Quincy Jones tribute album.
And if that wasn't enough, this week sees Wiley release the Mark Ronson produced 'Ca$h In My Pocket'.
