Mark Ronson Denies He Isn't Friends With Amy Winehouse

Mark Ronson has rubbished rumours that he is angry at Amy Winehouse and even confirmed they are working together again on new music.

Reports said the producer was refusing to talk to the 'Back To Black' star as their planned James Bond theme fell apart (the soundtrack was then given to Alicia Keys and Jack White).

But now Mark says that is not the case, insisting Amy was still a "really good friend" and adding "I'm there for her."

"I haven't been in England in a while," Ronson tells BBC 6 Music. "I always go and see her when I'm there and I saw her about six weeks ago but I haven't spoken to her in a little while."

And on the collaboration, Ronson says the pair are recording a cover version of Lesley Gore's 'You Don't Own Me' for a Quincy Jones tribute compilation.

"Basically it's a Quincy Jones record and he's got all sorts of different people doing songs that he either produced or wrote, kind of a tribute record. Hopefully we'll get that done."
