Madonna 'To Release Greatest Hits Album'

Madonna will release a greatest hits album later this year, it's been confirmed.

While speaking to People, the singer's representative Liz Rosenberg revealed: "We're hoping to have a greatest hits package come out in September. We're all very excited about it."

She then went on to add that the compilation is also likely to include new material from the star. "Madonna does have plans to go into the studio to record a few new songs for this album," added Rosenberg.

The Greatest hits album will end Madonna's current contract with Warner, she will then begin her deal with Live Nation, rumored to be worth $150 million.
