Madonna, Dion, Eagles Crowned Highest-Grossing 2008 Tours

Madonna, Celine Dion and the Eagles were the big money earners of 2008 - when it comes to touring North America.
The Queen of Pop was crowned the highest paid singer this year, grossing $105 million from her 'Sticky & Sweet' tour. Elsewhere in the list, which was released by Pollstar, Dion took in $94 million and Eagles $73.4 million.
At the bottom of the top 10 was Tina Turner, who still brought in a reasonable $47.7 million. The 10 highest-grossing 2008 tours were:
Madonna - $105 million
Celine Dion - $94 million
Eagles - $73.4 million
Kenny Chesney - $72.2 million
Bon Jovi - $70.4 million
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band - $69.3 million
Neil Diamond - $59.8 million
Rascal Flatts - $55.8 million
The Police - $48 million
Tina Turner - $47.7 million
