Ludacris has made a bold statement in a new interview - he's described himself as the "best rapper".
Speaking to the Chicago Tribune, the rapper compared the genre to boxing - a sport he's clearly a big fan of, as he got Floyd Mayweather Jr. to star on his 2008 track 'Undisputed'.
"Rap is real competitive just the same way boxing is." Lud told the publication. "We always talk about taking other rappers out. That being said, I feel like I'm the best rapper."
"I wanted to get the best boxer in the game for my last album. That's why it's called Undisputed."
Ludacris releases his seventh solo studio album 'Ludaversal' in 2010. His last record was 2008's 'Theater Of The Mind'.
