Lily Allen's Dad Tells Her To "Shut Up"

Lily Allen's father has said that his daughter needs to learn when to shut up.

Speaking to Spin magazine, actor Keith Allen admitted that fame was unfairly different for a man than a woman: "As a man, I could drink, snort and f*** to my heart's content without any detriment to my career. A girl cannot do that."

"The tabloids are shameless in trying to create a race-to-rehab between any girl out there who has a drink." Keith added. "Lily's learning what daddy learned long ago: fame is a pain in the f***ing a***."

He later spoke about Lily's 'tell all' personality, which leads the singer constantly revealing about her personal life. "I don't mind saying this, because I've told her already: she needs to know when to f***ing shut up."

Lily's recent comments include admitting she checked herself into psychiatric care after suffering a miscarriage last year, and sending a topless photo of herself to Ricky Wilson of the Kaiser Chiefs.
