Lily Allen Says "I'm Shy"

Think of a word to describe Lily Allen and we're guessing you didn't say "shy"? Well according to the singer - that's exactly what she is.

Asked by Elle magazine if she's shy, Lily replies: "Yes, I think I am, actually. I get embarrassed when people come up and ask for autographs."

And the thing that bugs Lily most about being asked for an autograph isn't having to find a pen, or taking up her time - it's having to act nice to people.

"I think people expect you to have a certain sense of decorum, but I almost find it like being a nursery teacher, having to be nice to people all the time."

"I haven't got a problem with that, but I think people expect you to know how to deal with s***."

"I find it odd when people say, 'Can I have your autograph?' because, why do you want my autograph? I really can't figure it out."
