Lily Allen 'Not Quitting Music'

Lily Allen is not quitting music, according to her publicist.

The singer fuelled speculation she was hanging up her microphone for good last week, when she posted a blog on MySpace saying she was not going to "make another record" or renew her existing contract.

Speaking on behalf of Allen, her publicist said to the Press Association: "Lily is not retiring from music."

''She is still promoting her current album which is why she said she is not thinking about her next record right now.''
