Lily Allen Lands Role In Neighbours

Lily Allen will star as herself on hit Australian soap Neighbours, it has been revealed.
The British singer will film her part while in Melbourne next month (June), and may even perform one of her songs during the episode.
She will feature in a scene with Matt Werkmeister, who plays Zeke Kinsky, and Matt is obviously very happy to be working alongside Allen.
"I'm freaking out! I haven't been this excited for... I don't know how long," he tells The Mirror. "I'll be starstruck for sure, but I'll try my hardest to stay professional."
"I'll definitely want to get Lily's autograph but will probably be too scared to ask her, so I'll be asking someone else to get it for me."
And although Allens's part in the Aussie show is brief, and will take less than two days to film, an insider reveals that she is equally as excited as Matt.
"She can't quite believe she'll take a turn on Ramsay Street – and meet Toadfish in person." The mole tells the paper. "Her role is pretty straight forward and she'll only have a few lines."
"She's just gutted that Kylie has long departed the show and that Bouncer is in the great dog kennel in the sky."
