Lily Allen has made yet more controversial comments in a recent interview. The singer had a Catholic upbringing and tells Word magazine that it conflicted with her life at home.
"I don't like Christianity much." Allen says, "I was brought up in a Catholic school and they told me gays, adultery and drugs were bad. All my mum's friends were gay, my dad was having affairs and there were drugs in the house when I was a kid, so it was a bit cruel."
Comments Lily made regarding the use of cocaine came under fire last week, which led to the 'Smile' hitmaker issuing a statement denying she condoned people taking the drug.
The singer is preparing for the release of second album 'It's Not Me, It's You', which is out next month. Her latest single The Fear is also out shortly.
