Lil Wayne Quits Cough Syrup Addiction

Lil Wayne has given up his cough syrup addiction.
The rapper was frequently snapped holding the promethazine-codeine drink, which he used to get high. But with a year-long spell in jail coming up, Weezy has kicked the habit.
"I haven't f**ked with that in a long time," Wayne told Rolling Stone, revealing that he actually quit back in May of last year. "I smoke weed all day. I'm a very successful addict. And a smart one. And a very charismatic one."
Lil Wayne will be sentenced next week and will spend 12 months behind bars. He has claimed he is "looking forward" to starting his sentence.
