Lil Wayne 'Faces A Jail In Year'

Lil Wayne could face up to a year in jail after he pleaded guilty to gun charges in a plea deal.
The rapper - real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr - was arrested in 2007 when a .40 calibre semi-automatic loaded gun was found on his tour bus - and now he's pleaded guilty for attempted criminal possession of a weapon.
Weezy will be returning back to court in February 2010, when he'll be sentenced at New York State Supreme Court.
The BBC says a spokeswoman at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, revealed Lil Wayne would face more serious charges if the case had gone to trial.
